Democrats in Congress stripped a provision from a 2007 fiscal spending bill that would have provided $30M to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) for a program that would have developed a vaccination to prevent unborn babies from getting HIV/AIDS from their infected mothers. Evidently, scientists know how HIV/AIDS is transmitted to the babies and have developed a method of preventing this transfer.
The next question that should be rolling around in your mind is, "what did they do with the $30M?" The money that was earmarked to prevent Baby AIDS will now go to other programs funded by the CDC -- specifically, a program on how to flirt. That's right, a program on how to flirt.

See what I mean? The Dems are letting your tax money go for some pretty stupid stuff. Stuff like this is definitely dumber than celery.
